Iris and ciliary body have the same ICD-O topography code (C694). However, for purposes of stage grouping AJCC 8th edition, they each have different definitions for T or primary tumor extension. A schema discriminator is necessary to distinguish between these primary sites so that the appropriate sub(chapter)/schema is used.Notes
